They're not in it for the parking

Parafed Wellington has been around for 50 years and they faciliate amazing programmes and events for people of all ages with disabilities to get them out, get them active and keep them connected.

When we approached them in 2019 we wanted to help them find their brand, their voice and ultimately more of the people who belonged to the tribe.

It didn't take long to discover that many people who had no association with Parafed were, shall we say, no more enlightened after hearing the name.  More often than not people found they needed to add a lengthy description to explain exactly what the organisation does.

Together we worked with the board, management and the members to conduct workshops, surveys in search of the 'why' of the group.  We then went to work to showcase the diversity of the members, their personalities and developed a brand to bring their energy, comittment and tenacity to the forefront.

The colour palette was chosen to reflect the diverse and vibrant personalities of everyone involved in the dsport community.

“Yell it” yellow: Supportive, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, intellect, honour and joy.

Believe in you blue: Trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, calm.

Go faster red: Strength, power, mana, determination.
